Workshop Details:
The workshop on "Soft Computing for Recommender Systems" is part of the Conference ISDA 2009 (http://cig.iet.unipi.it/isda09/).
Recommender systems have gained tremendous importance in e-commerce applications as a way to suggest items a user might be interested in. In order to accurately predict how much a user will like a given item, intelligent systems taking into account both content-based as well as collaborative information are required.
In this session, we welcome original work that uses soft computing techniques to this purpose.
The topics for the special session include but are not limited to:
Authors are invited to submit papers through ISDA 2009 web site. Papers are up to 6 pages and must be formatted according to the IEEE Journal format. The Proceedings will be published by IEEE CS Press. A number of selected high quality papers will be published in special issues of several international journals. Current list:
Please feel free to send this invitation to other colleagues that may be interested in these topics.
